Yoga’s Got Hot practices forms of Hatha Yoga and is most commonly known as ‘Hot Yoga’. Most Hot yoga classes are usually practised at room temperature of 113°F (45°C), we work at 95°F (35°C), which is the perfect working temperature as our internal heat is actually 98 degrees therefore our bodies take optimum benefit from the series and avoid heat exhaustion.

Our standard YGH classes last 90 minutes and are broken up into an hour of standing postures and thirty minutes of floor work. Express classes last 60 minutes.

This class is suitable for complete beginners and all levels. We take you through postures helping you go further if you are more experienced.

Practising yoga in a hot studio enables our bodies to work at their maximum levels. This naturally will have an effect of sweating far more, encouraging your body to flush out toxins from all the glands and organs of your body whilst cleansing your system.

When you sweat impurities are flushed out of the body through your skin. Therefore using our body fat as fuel and burning any unwanted fat along the way plus using a vast amount of calories to do so. To reshape and change your body safely, you have to heat it up because a warm body is a flexible body.

Practicing yoga increases our supply of oxygen and teaches us how to use that oxygen properly. We learn to control the breath through pranayama. This helps the respiratory system pump fresh oxygen to our muscles and organs. The best heat is internal heat which is generated through deep relaxed powerful breathing.

Our power classes are a modern, athletic style of yoga based on power vinyasa. It is designed to strengthen your entire body - the heat intensifies the practise, allowing you to go deeper and further in your postures. The Power class also triggers a major detox; generating heat in the body to rinse out toxins throughout the class!

Those who are new to yoga and want to try our Power classes, try our Beginners Power. This class will guide you through sun salutations and prepare you for our Power classes in the near future.

Taking the pace down, we focus on the foundations of postures/asana to build upon through practise.

This class works on powerful postures ideal for burning calories, gaining strength and toning the entire body.

This vinyasa style class focuses on cultivating a union between breath and movement. A great class for complete beginners to build and focus on foundations.Vinyasa consists of flowing sequences of standing postures which builds heat before moving to floor postures, inversions and finally savasana.

Practised in a warm room (28 degrees) prepare to reap the benefits of detoxification and deep stretching this environment brings.

A fun class inspired by the teacher’s personal practice, expect a different flow weekly that seeks to challenge. Strength, flexibility and focus will be nurtured in the class. Modifications are offered to postures, making this class accessible for all.

This is our upbeat, energetic and fast-paced vinyasa flow class. With an emphasis on joining together both breath and movement, practiced in 35ºC.

The postures in this class are diverse so that they balance out both strength and flexibility. You will be challenged with a dynamic flow to stimulate both mind and body. Come hydrated and prepare to sweat! Hot Flow welcomes experienced yogis or athletic beginners.

A dynamic flow based on the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series. This class focuses on Ujjayi breathing, allowing the breath to take to you to the next movement, almost like a dancing meditation. As well as lengthening and strengthening the legs, this sequence will also strengthen the upper body and improve overall flexibility.

This class is an introduction to the asanas of the Ashtanga Yoga Primary series. A gentle flow, focusing on the combination of breath and movement, body alignment and improving flexibility. Anyone with little or no yoga experience is welcome.

Yin is a slower, more passive style of yoga than our Hot Yoga classes. Yin is practiced in 25 degrees rather than 40 and the aim of this practice is to stretch the deep and connective tissues of the body, as well as the superficial muscles. We will hold each pose for approx 3-5 minutes, so it’s important to feel relaxed and calm in each pose.

This class helps to calm and balance the mind and body. Increasing mobility and flexibility in the joints, lower stress levels, and greater ability to cope with stress and anxiety.

Vinyasa works as a strengthening process and helps build lean muscle  throughout the body. The varied postures engage the entire body whilst placing pressure on the muscles and fatiguing them. All muscle groups receive equal attention, creating balanced strength throughout the body. Working on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels to connect the mind with the body and relieve stress and anxiety. Moving through the continual flowing postures can help shift the static thoughts that may be running through your head. Focusing on the breath results in a positive, calming effect on your  nervous system. Tight muscles are uncomfortable and tough to move. The continual flowing movements help stretch and lengthen your muscles while they are being strengthened, allowing you greater flexibility and range of motion.

Our classes provide a secure, intimate, comfortable and calm environment for you to connect with your baby and with your body during your pregnancy. The main aim is to help you work with helpful tools, breathing exercises (pranayama) and physical postures (asanas) that could support you during and after pregnancy and into your motherhood journey. During class, we can also explore various exercises that come useful during labour for a more active birth experience. These classes will help you to maintain physical strength and flexibility, focusing on breathing, mindfulness and relaxation, regardless of your previous yoga experience.

Together we will explore various ways to enjoy the benefits of yoga, while respecting your body and acknowledging any common pregnancy discomforts and symptoms such as pelvic girdle pain (PGP), nausea and sickness, heart-burn, tiredness, cramps, carpal tunnel syndrome, and lower back pain. The classes also heave a deep focus on mindfulness, body awareness and the use of visualisation and breathing techniques to support relaxation during pregnancy,  labour and childbirth. You can attend classes from 12 weeks in pregnancy.

Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.

Yoga Nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.

The practice of yoga relaxation has been found to reduce tension and anxiety.

Yin and Yang describe the two qualities or energies present in everything; from our food and our bodies, to the seasons and the world around us.

Yin qualities can be thought of as more internal & passive while Yang is more external, dynamic, warming and energetic.

By bringing both Yin and Yang aspects in each class we can experience all the benefits of both styles and we can use these in different ways.
